Date: Sunday July 21

Time: 10 am – 3:30 pm

Location: Rural property in North Corvallis

What to expect: An interactive experience growing health and wellness through yoga, reflection, meditation, nature, and community.

What to bring: A yoga mat, a water bottle, comfortable layers for being outside in the shade and sunshine. Consider bringing sunscreen, and food (a light lunch will be provided)

I’m teaming up with my friend and colleague, Tsana Anders, to offer a wellness retreat for our Corvallis community.  Take a break from your busy summer activities to get grounded and refocus energies on health, with the support of community.

Morning Activities

Introductions

Yoga – approximately a 1-hour Asana practice

Introspective Health Activity

Light Lunch

We’ll provide a salad, tea, and fruit (bring anything else you like)

Afternoon Activities

Meditation – approximately 1-hour Pranayama practice

Meet your guide: Tsana Anders:

I began practicing yoga 24 years ago at the age of 16 and have been teaching since 2005. I completed my first teacher training and continue to study with Parvathi Nanda Nath, respected teacher in the traditions of Tantra and Shree Vidya. She carries forth a tradition that emerged in the mountains of Kashmir. The asana classes I teach would best be classified as a Hatha flow style with a strong emphasis on assists, philosophy, and meditation.
